British rapper girlfriend denying reports of her beau and his ex getting back together
Grammy Award-nominated singer and songwriter Burna Boy (real name: Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu) has unfollowed everyon on his Instagram account, leaving only his girlfriend, Stefflon Don.
The Nigerian celebrity, who enjoys a follower base of 4.6 million, has now joined the boat of the few celebrities who follow no one on Instagram.
Although Burna Boy has not revealed his reason behind his actions, many fans are shocked, with the majority of them guessing that he did that as a romantic gesture to leave only Stefflon Don on his following list. Don, a British rapper, currently has 523 accounts on her following list.
In August 2020, the couple were on the spotlight over claims that he was still seeing his ex-girlfriend after a video of the two leaked on the Internet.
But Stefflon Don, in response to the rumors, denied that she and Burna Boy broke up, claiming that the clip of him with his ex, a Gambian actress, was old. So, she poured cold water on the reports as old news.
Don posted a screengrab of herself and Burna Boy (who was all smiles) in FaceTime, with the caption (written as it is):
“Old videos. Please let it rest, we good over here. Thanks.”
Nigerian media outlets report that Burna Boy’s ex was allegedly in the singer’s life before he met the 27-year-old British female rapper.
Burna Boy and Stefflon Don revealed that they were dating early this year. Their relationship has been going steady ever since.
In his recent interview with Hot 97 FM in New York, Burna Boy was nothing but praises for his rapper girlfriend. He said that Don as “the most perfect person.”
“On a more serious note, that’s my wifey. If you wanted a wifey, she’s like the most perfect person with that perfect description. Unfortunately she’s mine now.”
