The cause of death of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ex-fiance, Nick Gordon, has been revealed.
According to an autopsy report, Gordon died of accidental heroin overdose.
Nick Gordon, who was the former boyfriend and fiance of the late Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of deceased pop icon Whitney Houston, died on New Year’s Day. He was 30 years old. His death happened a little over three years after he was found responsible for the death of Houston’s only child.
According to reports, Gordon was found unresponsive and in cardiac arrest. He was administered Narcan and hospitalized for seven hours before being decalred dead.
It can be reacalled that Bobbi Kristina died in 2015, aged 22, after being in a coma since she was found unconscious and submerged in a bathtub in her Georgia home. The manner of death is eerily similar to that of her mother, who was also found unconscious in her bathtub three years prior.
Nick, who was often referred to by Bobbi Kristina, as her “husband,” was found liable for his girlfriend’s death and was ordered to pay over $36 million to her family after they filed a civil wrongful lawsuit against him. He denied that he had anything to do with Bobbi’s death and was never charged with a crime relating to the incident. Bobbi’s family won their civil case by default, after he didn’t appear for two hearings.
Bobbi Kristina’s mother, Whitney Houson, died in 2012, after accidentally drowning in a bathtub of her Beverly Hills home. She was 48. Her cause of death was found to be heart disease and cocaine intoxication.
